ASEAN Astronomers
On Thursday 24th October a group of secondary school students from Varee Chiangmai School joined a group of 30 students from across ASEAN to participate in a four day astronomy camp on Doi Inthanon.
During the camp the students were given exclusive access to the largest telescope in South East Asia and they spent 3 evenings star gazing from the top of highest mountain. Along with gaining a deeper understanding the students also made new friends with fellow students from Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Phillipines, Malaysia and Indonesia.
